Smart Solar Solutions for Homes

We’ve been part of the solar story since 2006. Back then, we focused on large-scale commercial installs , delivering some of the UK’s biggest solar projects. But by 2016, we stepped away. The market had become saturated with low-cost, low-quality installers chasing subsidies, and it just wasn’t sustainable.

Fast forward to 2021, and everything had changed. With battery storage, EV charging, and smart energy tech evolving fast, solar finally offered real, long-term value to building owners, no government grants needed.

That’s when we returned, forming The Stella Group. Over the last three years, we’ve delivered:

We actively monitor and maintain all our systems, and the results speak for themselves – real savings, strong returns, and clean energy done right.

In 2025, we launched GenR8 to bring our commercial expertise into UK homes. Backed by Stella Electrical Installations, GenR8 is here to make domestic solar smarter, simpler, and genuinely worthwhile.

Trust and Credibility You Can Rely On

At GenR8, we are built on experience, not guesswork. As part of the wider Stella Group, our foundations come from delivering large-scale commercial renewable projects across the UK.

Over the last three years, the Stella Group has delivered over 15MWp of commercial solar and more than 7.5MWh of battery storage across complex installations. That same level of precision, compliance and long-term thinking is applied to every home.

Built on Proven Standards

Every system follows a structured process to ensure performance and compliance:

  • Technical surveys on every property
  • Structural approval from qualified engineers
  • G99 approvals where required
  • Planning permission support where necessary
  • Detailed construction drawings for approval

This level of detail is not standard across the industry – this is the GenR8 standard, and it reflects the level of quality we believe homeowners should expect.

Certified and Fully Compliant

Our systems meet recognised industry standards, including:

  • MCS Certification
  • NICEIC Certification
  • Building regulations sign-off
  • Full handover documentation
  • 2-year fully insured installation warranty

This ensures your system is safe, compliant and built to perform long-term.

Quality Components and Long-Term Support

At GenR8, we use premium materials as standard, including Tier 1 solar panels, Duracell battery systems, and mounting solutions designed for UK conditions.

Every system is supported beyond initial setup, with:

  • 2-year insurance-backed warranty
  • Free engineer visits at 12 and 24 months
  • Remote system monitoring
  • Ongoing maintenance options

We don’t take a short-term approach. Our systems are designed, monitored and supported for long-term performance.
